Spotlight on Our Charity Partners
Animals Australia, one of our most cherished charity partners, has been fearlessly leading the way with their groundbreaking and courageous actions. Their unwavering dedication towards animal welfare has set a new benchmark in the fight against animal cruelty. Their efforts have been nothing short of heroic, and their impact on the lives of animals is immeasurable.
It’s an honour to support an organisation that is committed to making a real difference in the world.
We were deeply disturbed and shocked by the recent footage captured by Farm Transparency Project investigators. The footage shows the immense pain and terror that pigs go through in slaughterhouses across Australia on a routine basis. This is an act of bravery by the investigators to bring to light the true cost of the meat products such as pork, bacon, and ham that we consume on a daily basis.
Whilst we understand that this footage (clip below) may be difficult to watch, it is important for each of us to become more aware of the harsh realities involved in bringing meat products like bacon and ham to our plates. By facing the truth and acknowledging the inhumane treatment of animals, we can take steps to stop the cruelty and make more compassionate choices. Let’s remember that each of us has the power to make a difference and create a kinder world for all beings.

Social Welfare Impact
We recently spoke with Pilar Lopez, founder and all round amazing woman of Watering Women’s Tree – an innovative entrepreneurship program, available for all women in NSW aged 18+ with a strong focus on Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (CALD).
The program is offered by House to Grow with the support of Multicultural NSW and the NSW Government as their principle supporter, aimed at developing core skills around an entrepreneurial mindset, helping marginalised and immigrant women become entrepreneurs.
Watering Women’s Tree is a program designed to inspire, educate and empower women by cultivating their skills in business. They are currently looking for coaches to offer their skills on a pro bono basis to the women on their program.
Scientific Benefits of Doing Good
Its official…Giving To Causes You Care About is Good For Your Health!
The 2019 World Happiness Report found that donating money is one of the six strongest predictors of life satisfaction.
Research published in 2016 in the journal Health Psychology found that three weeks of charitable spending was enough to lower blood pressure among a group of older adults. In fact, the research found that the blood pressure improvements caused by pro-social spending were similar to those associated with taking up a new exercise routine.
